In order to assess where a student currently each, an assessment is carried out prior to joining the programme, and each family is provided with a feedback report along with a detailed one-to-one session.

Upon completion of the assessment, each student is provided with a detailed journey map with tangible goals that they need to achieve and skills they need to develop in 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 8 weeks and 10 weeks chunks with an annual plan attached.

Depending on areas of focus, a custom 10-week programme with specific lessons on content and skills is developed to be able to ensure the programme is the best fit for each student. Any changes that are required, will be adapted to the lesson plans to fit the needs of the student.

Each session has an element of video tracking to assess the ability of the student to speak, ideate and postulate on a specific topic. At the completion of each 10 weeks programme, the videos are showcased with parents to show how the student has progressed.

A WhatsApp Group with parents is set-up to provide a summary of what is learning during each session, and key areas of focus. In Week 5, a face-to-face (virtual) session is arranged to help parents walkthrough the level the student is currently at, against the milestones that are set out.

Each student is able to discuss any aspect of their life that they need assistance with including moral dilemmas, that would be counselled on. Each one of our trainer’s has completed TES safeguarding trainings, and is equipped to provide counselling (parents may be notified in the event of severe problems).
